Page types refer to content collection templates that have been specifically tailored to give each page a distinct purpose and structure.

These templates work cohesively to organize information and ultimately fosters a more user-friendly and connected website.

Why page types?

Research shows people don’t visit government websites to browse. They visit for a specific need – paying a traffic ticket, seeking a marriage license, or applying for a building permit.

This is why all new & redesigned pages on the TravisCountyTX.gov website must address one (and only one) clearly defined user need.

Since each page type is tailored to serve those needs, we can make sure that we communicate exactly what the constituent needs to know or do.
